Sometimes I need a little help getting going. So I like to plan my meals for several days. I usually like it to be a realistic, but slightly stricter version of what I want to do on my own. My objectives... 3 meals + 2 snacks. Balance proteins, carbs, & fats. Get those fruits & veggies. Eat proper portion sizes. Stear away from sweets. Here's my plan for today.
7am
1/2 whole wheat english muffin
w/ peanut butter
& banana
11am
1 cup cottage cheese
w/ sliced pear
1pm
Turkey, avocado, tomato, spinach, & a smidge of cheese
& dab of honey mustard wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla
4pm
berry smoothie
9pm... late dinner
shredded ginger chicken w/ bell peppers & brown rice
[thank you slow cooker]
10pm
a little sherbet [while I enjoy the bachelor]
having my cake
- jenny
- simplicity. sparkly things. baked goods. long summer days. the right beat. my one true love. a good sweat. and a long savasanna.
