This seems to be the year of the babies. I feel like all my friends are either trying, pregnant, or have a little one fresh from the oven. Here's some info I found about exercise for moms-to-be.
While there are some precautions, most women who stay active during pregnancy experience:
- Improved posture and appearance

- Stronger muscles in preparation for labor and support for loosened joints
- Improved circulation
- Increased flexibility
- Increased/maintained aerobic endurance
- Increased energy level and less fatigue
- Decreased muscle tension that promotes relaxation
- Promotion of feelings of well-being and a positive self-image
- Decreased recovery time after delivery
