rule #11

Don't hang on every subtle jump on the scale
Weighing myself too often only causes a silly fixation with one little number. The time of day or amount of fluids in the body may add an extra pound or two. Hormone changes and water retention during that special time of the month can add as many as 5 extra pounds to carry around. And because muscle weighs more than fat, being fit at the same size may mean weighing more.
